As a lucky guy I was sent to Barcelona for a congress. Taking profit of the university working life advantages I have add some holidays to the congress trip and I’ve managed to spend 20 days in my city.
This was my first congress, some nerves, some problems with my English but well it was just 10 minutes presentation. I’m happy with the results. The other part has been incredible: family, with a new member, friends, party and raid.
Raid, the rare sport I practice with Oriol and Borja, running, biking, skate rolling, kayaking and some other extra activities looking for some points lost in the middle of the mountain. I have finished my stay in Catalonia going to a hard one, Pineda Platja. Two days to cover a really long distance trying to not get lost and the result has been completely unexpected, we have finished thirds, really good final gift.
Now I’m back in Netherlands, but the activity doesn’t stop. I write you from a boat full of students where my department is organizing a course about sustainability.
